AIPCE CEP represents EU national associations of fish processors and traders
While AIPCE is the European Fish Processors Association, CEP stands for the European Federation of National Organisations of Importers and Exporters of Fish.
Trade
All trade-related agenda in AIPCE-CEP is handled by the Trade Working Group. The main areas that are currently under discussion: trade relations and FTAs, BREXIT negotiations. ATQ regulations, monitoring of IUU procedure, Marketing Standards.
Food Law
All regulatory developments and labelling-related issues are handled by AIPCE-CEP Food Law and Labelling Working Group. The main areas that are currently under discussion: analysis of current labelling requirements for fishery products, audit project for traceability and labelling of fishery products and monitoring and coordination of key topics for fishery products.
Sustainability
All sustainability and corporate social responsibility issues related to the industry are handled by AIPCE-CEP Sustainability Working Group. The main areas that are currently under discussion: industry responsible approach to sustainable sourcing and processing, monitoring on implementation of Control and IUU regulations, developments in Marketing Advisory Council (MAC).
